Tenuta di Valgiano Rosso 2021, Biodynamic Sangiovese Blend, rich, round, complex, deep, exciting, delicious and sensual red wine, one of Tuscany’s finest. This wine from Tenuta di Valgiano is made from 60% Old vine Sangiovese with 40% made up from Cigliegiolo, Canaiolo, Colorino, Barbera, Tazzelenghe, Syrah and Merlot. Here the vines are older, and the soil is from the pre-glacial era, dating back some 60 million years. This wine has huge ageing potential and we recently tasted the 2013 which was showing beautiful nuance and old red wine complexity but still has plenty of time to go. The 21 was a very fine vintage, rich, and supple already, for us possibly the best and most perfect wine for high quality red meat dishes on our Portfolio. Also, for Xmas, this would work wonderfully well and the bottle looks reassuringly expensive. Is Vegan?
