The 2 hectare Branella vineyard produces wines of a different character to the other single vineyard Casa Pepe. The vineyard has a unique, and varied terroir throughout. It has distinct sandy zone, with lower (near neutral) pH. Roots can penetrate profoundly. The sandier soil gives the wine more agility, a quicker rhythm, fine yet taught tannins and precision throughout the palate.
