Il Geco Cap Classique 2018The Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes for the 2018 Il Geco Cap Classique were handpicked and co-pressed, with fermentation and malolactic conversion carried out in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The base wine matured on fine lees for seven months before undergoing secondary fermentation (tirage) on 7 June 2018. After six years of aging on lees, the wine was disgorged in March 2024. A total of 1,450 bottles were produced, with a residual sugar of 2.4 g/l and an alcohol content of 11.5% (750ml bottle). NoseThe bouquet is inviting and refined, offering aromas of lemon zest, bruised Granny Smith apple, and ripe strawberries, enhanced by delicate hints of citrus blossom.
