Bourgueil Trinch! Cabernet Franc Pierre Breton 2023

After enjoying other wines from Catherine and Pierre Breton, I threw a bottle of “Trinch!” into a recent order out of curiosity. On pouring I knew we were in for a treat – the most incredibly dense, vivid violet colour, a punch in the nose then bunches of red fruits and blueberries on the palate, with bags of structure from perfectly balanced tannins. The bottle was gone in a flash. Amazing wine for just £18!
