As you’d expect for the price, this is not a regular (carbonic massarated) Beaujolais style Gamey. Think Cru villages like Morgon or Flurie (more to the grippiness of the Morgon for me). Lots of black fruits as well as red (plenty of cherries!) and a surprising amount of body for a Gamay. I bought it as I really liked the same producers white (fendant). Despite already being a huge Gamay/Bojo fan, I was still surprised by how much I liked this wine.
